Ashley Staten

Ashley Noelle Staten is a hybrid professional who values faith, family, and service. She is currently employed as the Animal Control Supervisor for the City of Raleigh Police Department. She has over 14 years of dedicated professional animal welfare and public service experience. Ashley was born in Greenville, North Carolina Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education from North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina.

Ashley has strong leadership skills and is devoted to serving others. She is a supporter of NCCU Alumni Association, Humane Society of the United States, Love Leads Project, National Animal Care & Control Association, Justice Clearinghouse and Sierra Club North Carolina. She has volunteered for the American Red Cross, Food Bank Central and Eastern NC and Inter-Faith Food Shuttle.

Ashley is a current resident of Raleigh, North Carolina. She is an optimistic individual who relies heavily on her faith in God. She is dedicated to strengthening community bonds through outreach and education initiatives. Ashley is passionate about animal welfare, health, wellness, and environmental justice. Her colleagues consist of individuals within the Judicial System, Public Health, Law Enforcement and Animal Welfare. Ashley exemplifies the standard of service in both her professional and personal life. She has recognized the importance of service as a lifelong commitment.
