Jennifer Phillips

Jennifer Phillips has a background in customer service, personnel management, and animal welfare. She has been working in the animal welfare field for over 11 years holding management roles in private practices, and county government. She is now an Enforcement Supervisor under Animal Services for the City of Charlotte/Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

A strong advocate for growth in the animal welfare industry, Jennifer seeks to involve staff and community members in joint efforts to focus on education and partnerships. Her professional interests focus on community involvement, enforcement v/ education, and staff career development in the area of animal welfare.

Her projects include increasing officer participation in community outreach and working with at risk community members and their animals that have medical needs. It is a passion of Jennifer's to prepare community members with that ability to care for and provide for the needs of their animals. She strives to make sure that animals are able to stay in homes and that those homes have the knowledge to provide the best possible life for the animal.
